Ticket Policy

Tickets will also be sold at the gate the day of the event.


Tickets are non-refundable.


The Faire is a rain or shine event.


 The Carroll County Renaissance Faire reserves the right to temporarily shut down during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds or otherwise dangerous weather conditions. There are no refunds for inclement weather. 

Code Of Conduct

Behavior: Guest are asked to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for a family-friendly amusement park. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including failing to adhere to posted safety regulations, is strictly prohibited. Guests who appear intoxicated, under the influence of illegal substances or exhibit any other illicit or belligerent behavior will be escorted from the park without refund and/or turned over to the proper authorities.

Dress Guidelines: Proper family friendly attire is required for the duration of your visit to the Faire. In order to maintain an environment suitable for guests of all ages, and in consideration of your personal health and safety, shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Clothing depicting rude, vulgar, political, and otherwise offensive language or images are not permitted. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could distract from the experience of other guests.

Language: Carroll County Renaissance Faire adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding offensive language. Visitors using abusive language, including symbols or gestures, will be escorted from the premises and will not be eligible for a refund.

Lost Children: We ask parents and guardians to remain with small children at all times. In the event you are separated from a person under your supervision, please contact the first available employee for assistance. We also recommend designating a centrally located meeting place to gather if someone in your party gets lost.

Alcohol: There is no alcohol permitted inside of the park.

 Lost & Found: While the Carroll County Renaissance  Faire is not responsible for lost and stolen personal items, we will do everything we can to help you recover your property. For assistance please visit Lost & Found, located at Guest Services inside the Carroll County Renaissance Faire. 

 Law Compliance: The Carroll County Renaissance Faire is committed to providing a safe environment. In addition to our Code of Conduct, guests are required to follow all local, state and federal laws, rules and on-site instructions. 

 

Company Rights:

  1. We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters any Park and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.
  2. We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave a Park, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.
  3. Park Rules and Regulations are subject to change without notice.
  4. If you have any questions, please visit any Guest Services location.

Restricted Items

The following items are not allowed at the Carrol County Renaissance Faire:


 

  1. Functional firearms, knives, razor blades, weapons or objects of any kind capable of causing harm are strictly forbidden. All period-appropriate weaponry must be peace tied. See a RPF employee for help peace tying your weapon at the gate.
  2. Recreational devices such as drones, remote control toys are prohibited. Bicycles, skateboards, shoes with wheels, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on the premises.
  3. Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels or devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, unpowered or unoccupied. Training wheels or similar modifications are not permitted. Devices must be manually or electrically powered and operated at a walking pace. Devices should be single rider and not exceed 36” (92cm) in width and 52” (132cm) in length.
  4. Folding chairs are not permitted, as ample seating is available within the site.
  5. Selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices) and large tripods are not allowed, see our “Commercial Photography” policy for details.
  6. Glass containers (excluding small containers such as baby food jars) are a possible hazard and are not permitted.
  7. Other items that we determine may be harmful or disruptive.

Pet Policiy

No pets are allowed at the Carroll County Renaissance Faire. Service animals are permitted. All service animals must meet the Federal ADA guidelines. According to the ADA, only dogs can be designated as service animals. Emotional animals Do Not enjoy the same rights. Ther are not allowed into the faire. All other animals and pets are not prohibited. Service animals must remain on a leadh or harness and under the control of the owner at all times. The ADA does not require that all animals be accommodated at all times. The ADA guidelines stipulate the the dog must be leashed or under strict verbal command at all times. Even if the dog is a service animal, we are not obliged to accommodate the animal if these guidelines are not meet.

Weapons Policy/ Safety Straps

All weapons MUST be safety strapped, in a sheath protecting the blade and may not be removed from the sheath at any time. Arrows being carried as a costume prop MUST be bound together and/or have the arrow heads removed. Bows MUST be unstrung within the faire grounds. Guest also must be over the age of 18 to carry a weapon.


Period arms- There are weapons that are relevant to the period portrayed while in costume. Weapons may include, but not limited to: swords, daggers, maces, bows and arrows, and pikes.


When arriving the CCRF will help assist safety strapping weapons at the. Any person in possession of a weapon that is determined to be unsafe or unable to be made safe will be requested to secure it in their vehicle or remove it from the faire.


Guests who do not adhere to the weapons policy may be removed or be refused entry.


Firearms are BANNED from the premises of the Carroll County Renaissance Faire.


Toy swords are allowed and not subject to the weapons policy but may not be wielded in a way that might accidently strike another guest or employee.


Costumes and attire must be family-friendly and may not be offensive, obstructive, violent or otherwise objectionable.
