Celebrating an Appalachian tradition of fried apple pies through North Carolina’s only festival in the Blue Ridge Mountain country of Alleghany County. We’ll have a fried apple pie contest, music, kid’s activities, food vendors, a small-town Jeep club, and much more. In our first year, we had between 11,000 and 12,000 folks, and we expect even more in 2024. Oh, and there will be plenty of fried apple pies on hand! Admission is free so bring the family and enjoy this fun and unique event!
